Ever watched Master-chef, Hell’s Kitchen et al?
Well I witnessed a cook off at first hand and very impressive it was too!
The Alternatives from the Lighthouse project versus students from Liverpool community college battled it out with some amazingly creative food at the Academy restaurant Tradewind Square, Liverpool.
The pressure was tangible and both teams worked their socks off to impress the judges including the head chef from The London Carriage Works, Hope Street.
Well it’s took long enough but I finally have a website of my own, and all done under my own steam with the aid of a telephone receiver clamped to my ear listening to inane elevator music, waiting patiently for advice on why it doesn’t work!
To cap it off I’ve now got a blog. Six months ago I didn’t know what a blog was and here I am boldly going were everyone else has been before me!
Just thought I’d have a bit of a rant for the first entry, hopefully the next ones will have some insight, wisdom and possibly a point.
Rob
